You will have two days in computer lab to complete this assignment
Task: You and your team (2 per team) are going to create a mini-textbook designed for 4th graders that describes the importance of government and the particular section you have been assigned.
Step 1: Research your subject-using the internet (and previous information discussed in class), look up the basic principles describing the particular section of government. Define it, how does it function? Who is a part of it? How powerful is it? What are important cases? Why is it important? Explain what it is in terms a 4th grader can understand.
Step 2: Log into google account : choose one person to start the doc -name it and then share with your other group member Create a mini-textbook using Google docs, be sure to share the doc with all group members (one doc per group)
mini-textbook should have a title page and 4 pages of information (5 total pages) about your topic. (No copy/pasting of info) Each person is responsible for two pages each.
Create your mini-textbook -use words/phrases/images/great graphics to make it look amazing, and remember your audience is 4th graders.
Step 3: share with me your finished mini-textbook :[email protected]
This should be creative, interesting, fun, and informative. Your target audience is 4th graders.
